Your Pet's Story
Thunder came to us as a surprise. We already had a 13 year old Shepherd mix named Shadow that we got from the BAHS. We were not sure if we wanted to raise a puppy, but Shadow took Thunder under her paw and taught her how to be a good doggie. We didn't even have to potty train. She just followed Shadow and did everything she did. Sadly Shadow died 4 months later, but not before turning Thunder into one of the best dogs we have ever had. Now Thunder has welcomed Sammy a Chiweenie into her home after the passing of our parents. Sammy is also a rescue pet with a huge personality. Funny how different all the dogs have been, but each one so loving and special.
