Your Pet's Story
Luke came from a shelter in Austin, Texas. A Green Bay resident saw him online and rescued him. He hitched a ride with a truck driver from Texas to Wausau where his foster mom picked him up. We learned about him through our vet. I had an afternoon visit with him and it was love at first sight. Made arrangements to return that evening with my husband. The foster mom told me Luke just stared at the door after I left in the afternoon. We adopted him and took him home that night - December 2, 2011.

In 2013 we decided Luke needed a playmate. I mentioned this to our vet and in February she said a dog came in through Green Bay Animal Rescue which looked a lot like Luke, her name was Hope. We set up a meet and greet at the foster home and they got along great. Then Hope came to our home for a visit. They played and wrestled like long lost siblings. On March 6, 2013 we adopted Hope.

Now our family is complete.
