Momma Mia entered my life about a year ago! She was expecting multiple pups and I had never fostered a “momma”! But BAHS had faith in me to get Momma Mia through labor and delivery. I had no idea what I’d be experiencing and… that I would end up adopting her because I couldn’t imagine life without her up after assisting her through labor! I was completely taken off guard the night her water broke… she wasn’t sure (either was I) what was going on. I ended up sitting in a plastic pool with her for an hour until all six beautiful pups were born! We did it, and, it was a beautiful experience! Today, she’s the character in the family—-her goal for the day is to play! Her life has transformed…and so has mine! 💝
