Your Pet's Story or Bio
Timmy (formerly known as Fluffernutter and Kashmir) came to BARCS in June 2025 after being hit by a car. He was badly injured, and his back right leg had to be amputated. I became his foster parent shortly after to help with his recovery.

We later discovered that his front right wrist was shattered, an injury that had been missed during his initial intake at the shelter. A vet at BARCS informed me that he would need to be euthanized. However, a week before we found out about the injury, a woman had met Timmy and decided she wanted to adopt him anyway.

She proceeded with the adoption, but after two weeks, her messages changed from calling him "the best dog ever" to texting that he was a lot of trouble and creating problems. She ultimately brought Timmy back to me, and that is when he officially became my dog.
