When I’m working, you will see,
The service dog I want to be,
If my cape is on, I’m at attention,
Learning too many cues to mention,
All of us are over two,
Before we get our job to do,

At PAALS we tussle, run and play,
But at the end of every day,
I know that I’m not here for me,
I came to serve humanity,

When we’re in public, people smile,
They see us go the extra mile,
Sometimes we have to hold a position,
But that prepares us for our mission,

“Tug” and “target” opens a door,
And I can get things off the floor,
And if you look into my eyes,
You’ll see my heart is over-sized,

It’s full of love I’m meant to share,
To change a life, and always be there.
I can’t wait to meet my friend,
