Ross, a proper southern gentleman and professional facility dog, is a 2017 PAALS graduate. After PAALS graduation, Ross began teaching in a preschool autism classroom alongside his handler. The black Labrador has spent the pandemic helping 3- and 4-year old autism students thrive in the face of changes that could have easily derailed their education. He has played an important role in his students' virtual learning and in person lessons. He brings peace, calm, and joy to all those around him. When he is not in the classroom, he can be found kayaking around Columbia with his pup mates, playing catch, or spending time with his family. Ross believes in the motto, "Work Hard and Play Hard!"
