I would make the best ever spokesdog for Bark Brew beer because....
big things come in small packages!
Hello, my name is Maddie. Shortly after I was born I was dropped off at a kill shelter. I could not understand why they did not want me. I was lucky because a local rescue group came in and saved me. That is how I met my human mom! I was so excited to find someone that loved me! After a few months of living with my mom, she learned I had a disability. As a puppy I was crushed, which caused damage to my hip. I tend to walk with a limp and it is hard for me to sit correctly. Even though I have this disability, I do not let it stop me! I love to run, swim and play with my sister. The best part of my life was when my mom started taking me to work with her. You see my mom works at a local elementary school. I was able to love on children, help the students and staff when they were sad or anxious, I was even used as a reward for some students who struggled with their behavior. I participated in a lot of school activities which I got to dress up for. I made a lot of new friends while I was at school. I was a happy pup! I had many memorable moments from my time at the school. While I made a lot of memories from working at the school, two memories really stand out the most. One of the most rewarding parts of my time at the school was when a struggling reader would come to visit me and read a story. I would lay beside him as he would read a book aloud. He was not embarrassed about his struggles, and I loved the attention he gave me! You see I understood how he felt! I was also given the opportunity to help a little girl overcome her fear of dogs. One day, she told my mom she didn't want to be afraid of me. Each time we saw each other at school, we worked on her fear. The little girl had the biggest smile when she could finally pet me. I couldn’t help but give her a doggy kiss when she finally overcame her fear. Even though life has thrown me curve balls, I live it to the fullest! As the saying goes "big things come in small sizes." I may be small in size but I have made a big difference in this world! I helped many children and adults while I was attending school. I was able to put smiles on people's faces and provide them comfort when needed. Even though I am no longer going to school, people still ask about me and love me when they see me in town. You ask why should I be selected as the spokesdog for Bark Brew, like me, we put smiles on people's faces!
