Minkah was originally rescued by ACS from a rural shelter in 2020. I fostered him & his brother as puppies & they soon got adopted. A year later, due to no fault of his own, Minkah was surrendered back to ACS. Unfortunately, he really struggled in the shelter environment, so I took him home to foster again. With his personality quirks, he continued to be looked over by potential adopters. After 2 years of fostering him, I realized he was where he was supposed to be all along. I made it official & never looked back. Minkah brings a smile to my face every day & reminds me that every dog deserves a second chance.
