Clark was rescued two years ago at just nine months old from a dog-hoarding situation in rural Tennessee. When he first arrived, he was underweight, covered in fleas, and had never stepped foot off the property where he was born. Despite needing grooming, veterinary care, and plenty of gentle attention, Clark immediately showed the world his sweet, trusting heart and eagerness to love.
Today, Clark is a completely different dog. He is healthy, happy, and full of joy. He is best known for the constant smile on his face, thanks to his funny little underbite, which makes him look like he is always grinning. His cheerful expression brightens the day of everyone he meets.
Clark also loves showing off his collection of Head Hog toys, savoring peanut butter Kongs, and playing with his friends at Pet Station Country Club, where his playful personality shines. At home, his closest companion is Lois the cat, who was adopted from Animal Care Society. Together they are inseparable, sharing naps, playtime, and plenty of mischief.
Clark’s journey from hardship to happiness is a reminder of resilience, love, and the joy that comes with a second chance.
