Rules

All ages of dog photos accepted
Feline photos are accepted for the RIP/Rainbow Bridge page only
Participants must be Ontario residents. Voters are welcome from outside of Ontario and Canada
Donations made in support of an animal are valued at one vote for every $1.00 donated.
The cost to submit a photo to the contest is $5.00 per entry.
Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from Barks and Meows Rescue. They must be a Rescue dog, having come from a Shelter, Rescue Organization or Owner Surrender
Photos may be of more than one pet, if they are all Rescues
Photos must not have any people or wildlife in them
Photos must be high-resolution (300 dpi or greater) to be considered for a month spread in the calendar
Photos must be in landscape(horizontal) format to be considered for a month spread in the calendar
Photos must be in full-color, no heavily filtered , edited or altered photos
Photos with professional photographer watermarks will not be eligible to be included in the calendar
Photos deemed offensive, indecent or obscene by Barks and Meows Rescue, will be removed from the contest
Photos must receive at least 5 votes to be included in the 2021 calendar in some form or fashion
Contest begins July 12 at Noon EST
All online photo entries must be submitted by midnight EST, September 7, 2021
Winners will be announced on September 14, 2021
All photos submitted become the property of Barks and Meows Rescue
