Pet's Story or Bio
Even the most loved dogs sometimes also need rescuing. This gorgeous black standard poodle found himself in a sticky jam in summer 2021 when his owner suddenly passed away and he had no family to step in and take care of him. That's when the wheels set in motion to find Hayden a new home. The local vet clinic put out a call to the OVC for help, who posted his story on Facebook. That's how we found out about his plight. As soon as we met him, we knew we wanted him to become a part of our family.
Hayden now lives near the waters of Georgian Bay. He enjoys going paddle boarding on the bay in the summer and relaxing on the dock. In the winter, he hikes on trails while we go snow shoeing or curls up in front of a warm fire after a day outdoors near the slopes of Blue Mountain.
Beneath his curly black coat beats the biggest and most loving heart.
