Pet's Story or Bio
We got this sweet girl from Barks and Meows Rescue 5 years ago. She was found as a stray on the streets of Kentucky, USA. Daisy is now 6 years old, and is very loved by our family: mommy, daddy, brother, sister and cat sister, Phoebe. Daisy loves to go for walks as much as she loves to nap next to her daddy. She is such a lovely dog who is so easy going, great with the kids, very smart, extremely well behaved, happy, social, super cuddly, and loves to be next to us at all times! She has definitely imprinted on her daddy, but loves to keep mommy company while working from home. Daisy is a complete joy and has really made our family complete. Daisy favourite food is fish juices, any kind of leftover meat from the kids, and she loves carrots, apples and cucumbers! We call her our little black bear because of her colours and how she loves veggies and fish, but we also like to think of her as a horse because she runs super fast and jumps over obstacles with ease. She also prances and trots when she walks on the leash. We also love her sweet beady dark eyes when they are dilated - we think she looks like a baby seal when she is sucky or is begging for food LOL! She definitely gets a lot of attention and love from her family, and is a big part of our everyday lives. She enjoys helping us get the mail by having a quick run back and forth on the boulevard. She always comes back to us at command. She listens so well! She loves to be off leash in the forest especially in the peaceful winter. She gets the zoomies, but never goes far and always comes back when we call her name. She jumps into the bath tub for baths at command. She just sits there like a good girl with no problems at all. Daisy is well loved by our friends and neighbours too. Daisy is just awesome and we really couldn’t have gotten a better dog. We really lucked out with her and we are so grateful to have her in our lives!!
