We were blessed to bring home our RoxyRoo (formerly Penny) from the Bastrop shelter in July 2019! Rescued from the streets, she was very well cared for by the staff and lovingly fostered by Wendy. We were thrilled when we got the call that our application was approved, especially since we were a backup applicant. This little girl captured our hearts instantly. RoxyRoo is a sweet and spicy little lady with a huge personality! She bounces around and hops all over the house like a little kangaroo. She definitely thinks she's the boss of our pack of chihuahua rescues. We felt like the name RoxyRoo captured her feisty & spunky spirit. We also call her Little Roo and Roo'ster!
