Bentley is a very sweet two year old Bassett that we have been truely blessed with he’s so loving and very gentle with my two young sons that are four and eight years old.He is definitely my four year olds best friend, they are inseparable. I have Bentley trained so he’ll come to the steps that are blocked off with the baby gate and theylet him upstairs he’ll come and get a treat and then he’ll go back downstairs to a certain spot and eat it.It’s that one certain spot every time.He knows that he gets two treats so dont you dare try to cheat him out of one and only let him up to see his mommy one time. Bentley also loves to play ball and talk to his best friend which is the alaskan husky next-door they have a meeting place at the fence line out back. He loves to chase the squirrels that run along the privacy fence along the back,and we can’t forget the birdies, he does not like the birds in our yard that’s an absolute no no I think that’s where my four-year-old gets that or Bentley gets it from the four-year-old because for some reason neither one of them like birds in our yard or anywhere on anything that belong to us is just too cute and I have tried to tell them both the birdies have rights too and they’re beautiful too just not as beautiful as all Bassetts just let them Live free
