A little about me...
Six years ago, I was contacted by Buckeye Basset Rescue and asked to foster a dog named Scooter, who suffered from severe separation anxiety. I had only intended to foster a short time but Scooter won my heart. I discovered that Scooter is a highly intelligent bagle (Basset/beagle mix) who delights in helping me. I took him to training and within a year he became my service dog. He went with me to work everyday until I retired in March 2020. In February 2021 Scooter suffered a bout with pancreatitis so I decided to retire him from service. He recovered from the illness and he still delights in helping me. He's my boy! Not a foster fail but an adoption success.
