A little about me...
Saturday of Labor Day wekend 2011, we drove south to a small farm west of Wilmington Ohio, to get a new basset hound puppy. We hadn't made up our mind on which one to pick, of course. We wanted to walk around with the humans and interact with all of the hound puppies they had. We hung about the place for probably close to two hours. Throughout our walkabout, two pups, a male and a female, had followed us quietly, just hanging about. Other pups squealed for attention, some pawed at our feet, all of which was cute. We stopped, and the boy and girl pup were sitting by a cinder block. For whatever reason, the girl pup just turned and walked back to her barn. The boy pup looked at her, looked up at us, and shifted his body ever-so-slightly - I think he KNEW he won that day's puppy picking contest. I, being a person who likes stubbornness and who admires those who are quiet and who never quit, picked him up. I said something to the effect of, "I like this guy, he doesn't give up." That pup is Watson.
