In the mornings, out in the garden, I would enjoy watching this beautiful vibrant bird visit the mountain ash tree that has grown ever so large.
I would observe the sapsucker chisel these series of holes in the bark and enjoy the rewards of its sap. As we became acquainted with one another, it trusted me enough to get a close-up photograph. :D
