Once again, it’s spring time in Stanley Park- and that means more
cute little animals that you can shake a stick at. Not that I would ever shake a stick at a cute little animal, mind you.
And amongst the cutest of the cute are the baby birds. And there’s no baby bird out there cuter than a fuzzy little
goose gosling.

There are probably hundreds of Canada Geese at Stanley Park,
and come the spring that means dozens of little goslings. This little guy was out with his mom and siblings one Sunday morning, exploring the area around Lost Lagoon. He (or she) seemed to really like running through the grass- in some cases it was up over his head!!
The geese at the park are pretty docile and are used to people, so you can get fairly close to them and their goslings. This familiarity provided me with some great photo opportunities, and this shot was the best of the day.

The little guy just looks so cute frolicking in the grass
and flowers- which were apparently very tasty!!
