We were walking with friends around Ferguson Lake, located in the Prince George vicinity when we noticed the entire pathway seemed to be moving - and it was! It was covered with hundreds, if not thousands of tiny toads, Anaxyrus boreas; the western toad. The toads were frantically trying to cross the path and make their way to the lake.
