Firstly, this entry won't steal a spot from any of the other amazing photos, but it is one way to show you care about helping wild patients in care at Wild ARC!

Do you know who this little bird is?

This young cliff swallow came in to Wild ARC with their siblings - after their nest had been attacked a predator! It's a miracle none of them were injured, or worse, killed. Although unharmed, they weren't able to return to their nest.

Thankfully, with the expert care of the Wild ARC team, these baby cliff swallows got a second chance at a wild life. With professional care and a specialized diet, these young ones grew up strong and healthy. It wasn't long before they were ready to test their flight skills in an outdoor enclosure!

Once our team was confident that the younglings were ready, they finally got their second chance. Wild ARC volunteer Gail was thrilled to see the young swallows flying to freedom on a sunny release day!

Swallow populations across B.C. are in trouble - and that's what Wildlife-in-Focus is all about - helping wild animals.

If you want to help animals like this cliff swallow, and you think wild animals deserve to live wild and free, donate to vote right now.

Every vote helps patients in need with essential funds for the specialized care these animals receive. This is your last chance to enter or vote - the contest only runs until 11:59 on July 26.
