Entrant's First Name
Poor little Korra, she began life in Los Angeles and was dumped in a shelter when she was about two months old. Her previous life is a mystery, but we do know that somewhere along the line she broke her elbow joint and the attempts to mend the injury were not adequate to repair the damage and it never healed properly. Korra was saved from euthanization and brought to BC. After we adopted her in May 2014 at four months old and she brought so much joy into our lives and become a valuable and loved member of our family. As she grew her poor little leg which was basically held together by scar tissue became weaker and finally gave out unexpectantly resulting in an injury that ended in having her front leg removed. Korra had her surgery in Novemeber 2014 and has made an amazing recovery. She loves to run and is always the fastest dog on the beach. Rescuing her was the best decision our family ever made.
