My wife and I adopted Butters from BC SPCA Vancouver in 2004. Butters going to be 12 years old this year. I was travelling a lot before and left my wife alone at home. She love animals. In that case one day I took her to the BC SPCA Vancouver branch and we saw this white creamy colour cat sleeping in one of the back room (cat area). We fell in love with him. We filled up the paper works and we brought him home with us.

It was one of the happiest day in our life. He get along with our dog (Sumo). He love to sleep under the sun. And love being outside (backyard or front yard).

My wife always said that Butters choose me as his leader. And it's true. Butters always give me a massage on my chest every time I was watching tv in the living room. He jumped on the couch and hang out with me.

He love my wife too. But he loves me more 😊😊😊.

Overall we'd like to bring an awareness if you'd like to have a pet please consider to adopt or rescue an animal (cat, dog etc) as your first option. Do not buy or purchase any animals from any backyard breeders or puppy mills or even from any website (Kijiji and etc).

Giving a second chance for these animals to be love and care is one of the beautiful things in life. We rescue them but most of all they rescue us.
