My partner and I had been diligently visiting the Vancouver SPCA for over a year, waiting for the right pup to join our family. In August 2015, we finally met the perfect pup for us. Ella was one of the 57 animals rescued by the BCSPCA from Surrey.

When we first took Ella home, she was underweight and fearful of most things. We took Ella to puppy classes. We spoiled her with lots of toys, walks, love, and training.

Now Ella is a totally different pup. She just turned one in April. She loves agility classes and performing tricks. She loves chasing big dogs on the beach. She loves to cuddle and she give kisses. We are so thankful for her.
