Walter was just eight days old when he came into the care of the Vancouver SPCA. The greyhound mix puppy was in a lot of pain and nearly dead. His ear had been cut off and someone had taken scissors and intentionally sliced his mouth wide open. He was fostered by Jodi Dunlop at her home. Because the puppies were so young, Walter and his siblings couldn’t eat on their own. jodi spent all night force feeding them to make sure they’d see another day. We met Walter last year at the SPCA fundraiser, my husband and i fell in love with him the minute i saw this little pup. 2 weeks later we adopted Walter and brought him home. Now Walter is 8 months old, 65 lbs and so happy to be in his forever home, we love him so much, he is a wonderful addition to our family. xo
