I love animals, especially cats. I have had 3 cats, 2 from a shelter. Scarlett gave us a lot of joy since we first got her at 8 weeks old. She loved to jump on our shoulders and chase her sister around the house while playing. When a kitten, she shocked herself after she jumped in a bathtub full of water while running! She had such a joyful spirit. But Scarlett's life came to an abrupt end, at age 12, in August 2015. Scarlett was snatched by one or more coyotes while I was outside with her and left her briefly in my front yard to water some plants on the side of the house in the early evening. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that pets are not safe unless they are on your lap while outside. I thought I was a very responsible owner to not let my cats roam around in the neighbourhood...... I miss my Scarlett a lot.
(I know Scarlett was taken by a coyote because after searching , we found small parts of her). 😢
