Introducing our amazing Golden Retriever, Glee, who is doing her very best pose in the Cupcake Day photo for the SPCA Cupcake day on
February 29, 2016! She is an amazing dog and never moved to eat the cupcake decorated by her owner, Kathryn who baked and decorated over 100 cupcakes which earned almost $1500 for the SPCA. This photo became the "Thank You" card that was sent to all the donors who donated so generously to the SPCA.

Glee came to live with us when she was 1 year old in May 2011 and right away started to watch over our 1 year old boy who is now 6 and then again in 2012 when the second baby arrived, she continued to be present at all times with both of the boys. She is always the most patient, steadfast and gentle "dog-mom" that any children could ever have as their pet.

Glee is the champion of scent dogs when it comes to "treats" and she has come to know the sound of the "toaster" and the smell of "peanut butter" at breakfast time with Nana every morning. By the way, she never turns down apple peelings or plain old dog bickies. Just like all Goldens, she loves "people food" and all her "people" who share their foodies with her.

The super dog, Glee has many nicknames and responds immediately to "Giggins", "Giggy", and "Fautchi". She is also known as the "Dog Whisperer" because she is not only a great friend to every dog she meets but also a surrogate "Mom" when it comes to socializing the young puppies that eagerly check her out on trail walks.

Glee is a one-of-a-kind dog, with a peaceful soul that makes her our Best Friend! We love you lots!
