Oliver was returned to the pet store when a man bought him for his wife for Christmas and she didn't want a puppy. He was meant to be mine! He came home on December 30, 2000 and was part of my family until just this past Novemer 27, when I had to make the soul crushing decision to let him go. He was old, in pain with arthritis, and had dementia....but even though it was the right thing to do, it still broke my heart to lose him. He has so much personality, and was a real character. He loved carrots, apples, walks, squeaky balls, ans doggy daycare, where he could roam free off the leash. I miss him every day, especially the welcome home I'd get when he would turn circles and run to bring me a toy.
