Joey was born on the 2nd of June 1997. It was in February 2000 that I was looking to adopt my first cat. I called my local Animal Hospital and explained that I was looking for an adult cat who was neutered or spayed. They said they would keep me in mind if any cat fitting that description became available. Less than 30 minutes later I got a call from a woman named Debbie, she was in tears. She had a baby a few weeks earlier and her cat was acting very aggressive and she felt she didn't have any other options but to find him a new home. I asked what his name was and immediately upon hearing his name was Joey (one of my favourite names) I said I'd love to have him. Later that day her husband dropped him off and we went on to spend almost 15 amazing years together. He passed on the 5th of November 2014. In the last couple years of his life he was often called Moushie, he was an amazing cat and I miss him everyday.
