This sweet boy was adopted from the Coquitlam Animal Shelter 9yrs ago. He wasn't always as content as he is in the photo. In the early days he had separation anxiety and suffered from boredom that was relieved by chewing things around the house. He has definitely mellowed out over the past few years.

Shorty loves to love and can't get enough attention. Favourite things include squeaky toys, treats, car rides, getting petted and people watching. He's a great supervisor when you're shoveling snow.

You may not be able to tell from the photo, he has the body size of a Shepherd and the short legs of Corgi.
Apparently he is of two breeds that are amongst the worst fur shedders....there is no end to the vacuuming, thank goodness for the science of cyclone suction gadgets.
