Although not a rescue dog, Riley has been working as a St John's therapy dog in an extended health facility in Chemainus, BC, caring for those with dementia. Riley is remembered by name and given loads of affection. Sometimes it's us as humans that need the rescuing. Riley may not help his fellow dog out as much as he should, but he certainly assists the human animals with all his heart.
