Mr Duvet was a rescue found at 6 months old in a snowbank in Quesnel. For some reason no one wanted to adopt him and when I appeared at the shelter he was in the back in a wire cage looking very depressed. I said to the shelter I want him and we packed him up and I took him home. When we got home I let him loose in the house and was expecting that it would take a long time for him to accept me. About an hour later I was laying on the chesterfield watching the Canucks and suddenly he jumped up on me and lay down along the length of me purring madly. He's a big boy and very warm and it reminded me of being covered by a duvet. That is how he got his name.
