Wriggley or Wriggley Piggley the Pigman will be 8 years old in September although most people think he is only eight months old now because he is so tiny. He was born in Vulcan, Alberta which is where Spock from Star Trek is 'from'. We think that's funny because Wriggley's ears are also very big and pointy 😀 like most Yorkies.
As with a lot of small dogs Wriggley has a tracheal problem and as a result I nearly lost him two years ago. He was only given an eleven per cent chance of survival which then dipped to a four percent chance after his trachea completely collapsed and he suffered a heart attack as a result. It was the Scariest moment of my life. I couldn't imagine my life without him.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of his veterinary team though; a stint implant and his unwavering determination to prove the naysayers wrong he survived and is doing great!!!
Wriggley shows me everyday that our pets no matter what species or breed are our family members. Their love is undying.... Just like The Pigman 💕
