Cleo first came into my life when I was 12 years old and she was a mere 8 weeks old. She quickly became best friends with one of my other cats, Mittens, and they were inseparable until his passing. After that, Cleo and I were inseparable. She would follow me around the house, and even call me to bed when it was time. I would carry her around in the crook of my arm and dote on her as much as possible.

At about 18 she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and kidney disease, but still managed to live happily until just a few days after her 21st birthday; we let her go a couple of months later. The bed still feels empty without her.

Cleo, my little girl, will always have a special place in my heart!
