Lila is a border terrier that came to us at 4 months old, on the same day that I gave birth to my second child. She was first known as Lila "bad timing" Spooner, but soon made it clear that she was meant to be part of our family. The most mild mannered of terriers, she has grown up with our children, and watches over them as her own. She is now 8 years old, and none of us could imagine life without her.
