Rocky was adopted from the BC SPCA at the age of 2.5 years old. Was he settling down since he was almost 3? Nope, he was and still is a big puppy at heart. Now that he is 7.5 years old people still ask if he is a puppy due to his exuberance and goofy animated ways.

Rocky was going to spend his days in the back yard while we were at work, but he had other ideas, a six foot fence wouldn't keep him in. He hopped over without any problem. Once he was allowed to stay inside the house, he was a happy, contented and well behaved boy (usually!).

Whoever named him Rocky selected his name wisely as he loves to chase and carry around rocks. A DNA test showed he was Husky, Setter and Greyhound. His Husky side is apparent when he talks, it seems he is never quiet. His Setter comes out when he chases birds, never catches them but that doesn't stop him. His Greyhound side is displayed when he runs, we've never seen a dog run as fast as Rocky. He can run faster than a thrown rock.

Rocky is very social and loves to be with his family. Car rides are awesome and he'd snuggle on the couch if he was allowed. He is a high energy crazy guy that can be a bit of a handful, but that just makes him all the more a lovable character.
