Adopting this beauty was the best thing I have done since I previously adopted my other cat Nala from a family member. Nala since passed on over the rainbow bridge.
Sama is a special girl. She has come a long way from the shy, scared cat at the SPCA who lashed out at people coming to meet her. Time, love and patience have won her over to being a trusting and loving cat who is so affectionate she gives kitty kisses.
I do not know what her past was, but she is now no longer scared of hands approaching her to pet her. She used to hiss, scratch and bite anyone who tried petting her. She now loves pets and scratches after months of gentle pets and no sudden or violent hand movements (and the use of a back scratcher too).
She is a five year old dynamo who is very loved and can now love back without fear.
The SPCA is the life-line that brought me to Sam. For that I will always be a supporter and be grateful.
