This is Cali. Girl's best friend is an understatement! After countless weekend fosters and hours of volunteer work at the Victoria SPCA, I found myself yet again with fosters. This time in late December 2014. I took on two foster puppies at only 4 weeks old! Their mom and litter came into the shelter in bad shape and had to be fostered out so they we're cared for properly. Cali stole my heart, she was my baby, and after a few months of fostering I decided to officially make her mine. Cali has quite the unique personality and makes me laugh countless times a day. The journey with her hasn't been an easy one. Struggles with separation anxiety and two reconstructive surgeries on her back legs within 5 months of each other have challenged us both. Regardless of the ups and downs in her 2 short years of life so far, I wouldn't change a thing. I love her more than I can put into words!
