Bio
Tig Saved our home. We were being overrun by rats ... in fact after the 6th one in the house I drove straight to the SPCA looking for a cat with an attitude. Tig had been returned because he apparently 'stalked children'. and now that I know him I realize that would have been in good fun. Tig settled in very nicely and was only showed once his food dish, water and litter. One late night I was working on my laptop with Tig beside me when we heard a noise in the kitchen... A baby rat was eating out of his dish! His eyes bugged out and the chase ensued. The little rat ran under the fridge... then every time he decided to make a move he would squeak and then walk to another hiding place.. right in front of Tig... who watched with amusement..... Tig followed him up the stairs and so did I. Wow my fierce tiger. But when I to the top of the stairs the rat bolted and so did Tig. He didn't catch him but the little rat made his way out of the house and never returned. There were never any casualties but all the rats have decided to move out. Honestly they were walking along the fence between houses in lines of four. Not the healthiest vermin to have around. Neighbours on both sides were very grateful. Now that Tig is older the chases are quicker to ensue should one dare to come in his yard. What I do love most about him is he has won over my hubby who now whispers I love you to him... Tig plays fetch with sticks and likes to lay on top of me every afternoon to nap because he likes to run outside at night to play with the racoons and chase deer. When he's awake he is always nearby and has to touch everything I have... including my shake! He's our little boy. Thank you SPCA for giving him time to find his forever home!
