Boots found us one hot dusty summer in the Okanagan. He spent about four months roaming the neighbourhood, hunting for himself, until finally one day he had had enough. " This is the family I want to spend my life with" -he must have been thinking. He boldly came up onto our deck and put his little face against the patio door screen and meowed the most sympathetic meow. My husband said " Shall we feed him?" I said " you know what that means..." So we fed him and within a few minutes could pat him. Soon after we took him to the vet for a check-up, had him wormed and fixed and he has been the most wonderful friend ever since. Intelligent, loving, fun, talkative ( our other cat, Gypsy taught him to talk!!!)
He is the movie star of tuxedo cats!
