I am part of the animal rescue group in our small town and one day my boyfriend and I decided to look at one of the rescue kitties as a possible third cat for our home. At that time we had our large orange, male cat, Kratos, and our tiny (less than 3 pounds) female cat, Callie. The two are great pets but were just not suited to play together as he is more of a slow wrestler and she prefers fast tag. Our hope was that we would find a kitty that would bridge the gap, and it could not have worked out better! It took almost a year for Kratos to warm up to our new kitty, Mouse, but now that everyone gets along they make the perfect trio! Mouse is fast and gentle enough to play with our tiny Callie but she is also big and brave enough to play with our big Kratos. We are so happy to have gotten her, she is absolutely the best kind of cat there is. She is playful, gentle, cuddly, adventurous, curious and sweet as a button.

Side story: We have also realized that our cats make up the cast of The Jungle Book! Kratos is Shere Khan; orange, kind of mean and definitely a little bully. Callie alley cat is Bagheera; black, thoughtful, cautious and loves to perch and observe from up high. Lastly our Mouse is most definitely Baloo; grey, chubby, friendly, carefree and not unwilling to take on Shere Khan. If all three aren't taking their 4 hour naps then the house is full of entertainment!
