Max is our quirky Golden Retriever that joined our family from the SPCA Nanaimo branch. We had been looking for awhile and he just "fit" our family. He is a bit hyper, but also very gentle and fun. He will carry cans around the house and trade for cookies. He has never met a shoe he doesn't also like to pack around. He makes new friends easily and plays like he means it. We ended up running into his sister, Amber, who lives a street away from us. Such a coincidence! Our children are adopted and we couldn't imagine bringing a new member into our family any other way. Love, love, love this dog!!!
