Santi was rescued from the streets of Santiago, Chile by a very loving person. He was in such a bad shape that he had to spend a lot of time at the vet recovering from his physical wounds.
Life brought Santi all the way from Chile to Canada where we met him and instantly fell in love with him. We adopted him immediately even though he was very scared and didn't really trust anyone except the people that had rescued him. It was a tough start for him in a new country with new people but in no time, thanks to the help of amazing and loving trainers and the dedication of his new owners he improved tremendously. Learned to walk with a leash, learned to listen, learned his name, learned to trust humans and learned to love and be loved. Up to this day, at his almost 12 years of age he still doesn't know how to play as he really never learned as a puppy and he still doesn't trust other dogs but that's ok, we want to give him the best last years of his life in a safe environment with lots of human love. Adopting Santi has been amazing. He is a very important part of our family.
