Daisy came to us through a rescue in Vancouver. She was small, had just finished a litter of puppies but was only a pup herself as she was not yet 1 1/2 years old. Full of anxiety she wanted nothing to do with other dogs or strangers.
We were searching for a sister for our other girl, Abbey. We brought Abbey to meet Daisy at her foster mom's home. Daisy was so nervous about meeting us that she hid under the dining table for half an hour so we just sat on the floor and waited, chatting quietly to see what would happen.
Daisy finally made her way over and within minutes of "checking us out" crawled tediously onto my lap where she remained for most of the rest of our visit.
This little one is now the most rambunctious of babes. Egging her big sister into games of "Chase" and wrestling. Nothing delights her more than playing with her sister or snuggling intently with her people.
