Roadie is a Rhodesian ridgeback who takes care of his kitty friend Abbey. Abbey was born feral and found along the riverbank with her sibling. Abbey was very shy and has no confidence at all, being black in colour and having a less then desirable temperament put her low on the adoption list.
When we visited the SPCA, Abbey chose us. She ran out of her kennel and kept into our laps full of purrs and winks. She surprised the staff as she usually would hide and showed no interest in people. We knew right then we had to bring her home.
Once home Abbey bonded to her big brother Roadie right away, these two are inseparable and always look out for each other.
