Bio
This is Petey. He is a feel good story. He was rescued from a kill shelter in the U S. and brought to BC Canada. While in foster care it was soon evident he had never touched grass or gone for a car ride or walk. The unfortunate part is it was quickly apparent Petey is epileptic. He suffered grand mal seizures daily sometimes twice a day. That now made it difficult to find a home for him here in BC The costs for his medical bills monthly was a deterrent to possible adoption. The agency that sheltered him could not sustain the costs. He needed a home immediately or he would be euthanized.
Well he found a home with little money but lots of love. It's funny how you can find the money when you need to care love and tend to a member of the family.
Petey has been blossoming into a lovely dog. He has a long way to go yet we see changes in him daily which is uplifting for a dog that has spent most of his life in a kennel.
