We adopted Haggis in 2008 and couldn't imagine the many humorous quirks he was about to unleash on us. From his strange call "mow-wow" (emphasizing the "wow") to his unusual sleeping habits he's made us laugh every day. He made it clear he didn't want a cat bed - he preferred the bathroom sink for quite some time. He's now settled on a large glass bowl. He will only drink from the running tap in the bathtub and he eats more like a pig than a cat - splattering food everywhere. We finally had a special cupboard made for him (his chow-barn") that we can close off to hide his messy food plate. His belly fur is very curly and the rest of his fur looks and feels like fake fur. During the winter months he grows a long white mane which tumbles off in clumps in the spring along with the rest of his body fur until he whittles down to half his winter size. He's a big baby who follows me everywhere and he's given us so much pleasure over the years we find it easy to put up with all his antics.
