I am Sassie the purebred collie. And this is a photo of my big long collie nose!!

I was rescued through the Okanagan Collie Rescue.

I was rescued at 10 years old from a terrible breeding situation. I was a champion my self and was the mother of champion collies and of just way tooooo many collies!

I lived in a cardboard crate and was fed only stale bread that was free from a nearby bakery.

I was debarked so that no one could hear me barking for help.

I love my new home. I have people who love me and dog friends to hang out with. I may be a little rickety and slow and prone to a little leak her and there but my people love me and I love them back. And they really appreciate my funny and spunky personality.

I love a leisurely walk but my favourite trick is to 'woof' on command. The debarking has made my bark a litte quieter but it has not taken the fun out of it. We collies love a good woof!
