Pita is a long-haired black cat with a white star on his belly. We got him when my niece was moving and couldn't take him with her. He is about 8 years old.
Cougar is an orange short-haired cat we got at 12 weeks old when the owner called and asked if we were sure we didn't want him as he was being abused by the owner's mother. When we got him he had no whiskers or long hair on his face at all. Because he was orange I was going to call him Trigger but that didn't sound right so he became Cougar. They are now the best of friends.
