We brought our little pipsqueak “Pips” home from the SPCA on October 1st 2006. Our little ball of fluff immediately made his way into our hearts, and let the dogs know he was in charge!
Right from the start he loved having the company of our two dogs, so anytime we would go out on a hike he would meow and meow until we broke down and let him come along. He doesn’t have the stamina the dogs have though, so when he gets tired out, we’d pop him into his carrier that strapped to my chest to finish the journey. He is so adventurous and is enamoured with water. Whether it’s a trickle coming from the tap, or a day at the lake - he is in his element when he is near the water. That’s the key word, “near”. He loves to be canoeing and paddle boarding but he’s not too fond of falling in - which has happened a couple of times but has not soured his love for these activities. We just love our guy - he’s been a perfect fit in our household and is what makes our house a home.
