Most all of my siblings had dogs, I was reluctant to get one as I lived alone. On a fateful sunny day in July of 2017, my brother & his wife took me to visit the BCSPCA in West Van and asked if we could take 5 year old Coco who's part Pomeranian part Chihuahua for a walk. At the end of the walk I just happened to have opened my car door, she jumped in and didn't want to leave the seat. She looked at me with those same deep brown eyes just like saying, take me home. It did seem we were a perfect match after all. I did take her home that same day and she's with me wherever I go.

She's always happy around people. Neighbors in my condo say 'she's the luckiest dog ever' as they always see her wildly wagging her tail, so happy and excited around people and kids and she's always with me wherever I go and it also made my other neighbors get a dog. She loves sitting beside me on the couch while watching tv, movies or Canucks games. She loves being cuddled, gives me lots of good night 'kisses' and sleeps with me in bed. It's been over half a year now and not sure if I rescued her or she rescued me! <3 my little baby girl to bits!
